Company Description


CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd. is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) set up by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, under the Companies Act, 1956. Established in 2009, it is entrusted with the task of monitoring and implementing the Common Services Centres (CSCs) Scheme, a key initiative under the Digital India Programme.


Role Description


The Assistant Manager will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the operations of insurance, pension, and tour & travel services delivered through the CSC network in Telangana. The role demands coordination with stakeholders, training of VLEs (Village Level Entrepreneurs), driving service adoption, ensuring compliance, and achieving business targets.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Operations Management


Oversee day-to-day functioning of insurance services (GI, LI and other insurance products) through CSCs


Drive enrollment and servicing of pension schemes (NPS and other relevant schemes)


Promote and manage tourism & travel services (IRCTC ticketing, bus bookings, air ticket booking, holiday packages) via VLE network.


Monitor service usage reports and take corrective actions to achieve targets.


2. VLE Engagement & Training


Conduct training sessions and workshops for VLEs on insurance, pension, and travel services.


Develop training materials in English & Telugu for better understanding.


Encourage underperforming centers to adopt and actively promote these services.


3. Stakeholder Coordination


Liaise with insurance companies, pension fund managers, IRCTC, travel partners, and government departments.


4. Performance Tracking & Reporting


Maintain MIS reports and dashboards for service-wise performance.


Present weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports to State Head and National Team.


Implement grievance redressal mechanisms for customer and VLE issues.


  • Languages: Proficiency in English & Telugu (spoken and written). Hindi is an added advantage.
