Assistant Manager - Instrumentation

Role & Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare Loop Diagrams and Overall System Interconnection Diagrams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
  
• Review and prepare Junction Box Wiring Diagrams and MCT Arrangement Drawings.
  
• Review and prepare instrument and Junction Box (JB) schedules, as well as Cable schedules.
  
• Review and prepare Instrument and Junction Box Layouts, including Cable Tray and Tube Tray Layouts.
  
• Review and prepare Fire & Gas, Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire & Safety Device (FSD), and Fusible Plug Layouts.
  
• Review and prepare Instrument Installation and Hook-up Diagrams.
  
• Prepare Instrument Bulk Material Take-Off (BMTO) documentation.
  
• Review vendor documents related to Integrated Control & Safety System (ICSS), ESD, Fire & Gas (F&G), and field devices to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  
• Collaborate closely with Engineers and Designers across disciplines to ensure instrumentation selection, installation, and configuration meet operational and accuracy standards.
  
• Ensure instrumentation design aligns with well head automation systems and industry best practices.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
  
• 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with proven expertise in instrumentation design specifically for Well Head Automation.
  
• Strong knowledge of international instrumentation codes and standards.
  
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and liaise with vendors and clients.
  

Technical Skills / Software Proficiency:

• 3D Modelling Software: Plant Design System (PDS 3D), Smart Plant 3D (SP3D), Plant Design Management System (PDMS).
  
• 3D Review Software: Smart Plant Reviewer, Navisworks Freedom.
  
• 2D CAD Software: AutoCAD.
  
• SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation).
