What we’re looking for: Job Description: Primary responsible for Business Development / Technical Marketing & delivering Sales target (Volume, Value, Coma & Collections) in West-India. Strategic and management responsibilities for sales growth in west India major markets like Ahmedabad, Surat and Vapi and provide technical services to accelerate revenue and improve competitive market position. To develop new customers & generate sales by helping them with technical support, developing relationship, providing all Technical or commercial solution at the time of issues/problems. Manage and provide strong leadership to the assigned distributors, guide them in achieving annual sales targets and ensure timely submission of quarterly reports from them. To develop new and maintain dealers with high potential and customer relations in designated area with Commercial Manager-ISC. Management of activities like sales, trials, maintain customer and competition database. Co-ordinate with technical application lab in Mumbai for effectively handling customer technical queries and trials. Planning and reporting of Trials. Develop the market with Commercial Manager-ISC and, a territorial business strategy to maximize growth and profit in assigned territories. Execution/implementation of the plan. Identify key/strategic customers according to the agreed strategic execution plans in assigned territories, agree on the key customer strategy and an annual sales call plan for visits with Commercial managers and ensure that action plan is in place for each key customer to achieve customer intimacy for the delivery of value to the business. To execute value base pricing strategy at key customers to maximize the profit. Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers. Provide reliable 24-months rolling forecast monthly. To Submit weekly basis, Sales, Collection, and new opportunity report Communicating extensively with all the internal stakeholders like credit management team, supply chain, R&D, finance and marketing. Adhere to Business Compliance requirement and Indorama EH&S codes. Effective management of the receivables, DSO and overdues Required Knowledge/Skills: Techno-commercial Acumen Strong fundamental concepts of Textile wet Processes / Wet Processing Machinery Possesses strong technical background & good analytical skills to support decision making. Skilled communicator with sound networking abilities. Computer basic knowledge of Word, Excel & Power Point To follow site EHS & PSM procedure and best practices Required Experience: 4-6 years of techno commercial experience in the Textile Industry Selling and Promotion of Textile Chemicals to textile process house & Distributors in West Region. Experience in conduction trails, technical discussion at textile process house (Pretreatment / Dyeing / Finishing) Exposure of meeting textile brands for marketing will be added advantage. Specific responsibilities include: Coordinate and oversee production activities during the shift. Ensure process parameter are maintained as per SOP for running process. Assist the Operations Head in ensuring that operational/quality issues are resolved in a safe and prompt manner. Interfaces with Maintenance to ensure that Capex work, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, shutdowns are well coordinated and to ensure that plant runs reliably. Ensures good Operational systems in place to ensure that plant is kept in good safe operating conditions. Leads troubleshooting effort in the event of operational problems and provide advice to the Operations Manager. Reviews daily log and Coordinates SAP transactions with the SAP Planners to ensure proper accounting of plant inventory. Leads regular review of Plant Operating procedures to ensure operating instructions are up to date. Leads regular review of the safety protection systems to ensure that safety systems (like interlocks, LOTO etc.) are not bypassed. Supports Supply chain issues as required. Responses to plant emergency conditions as per direction of the Operations Manager Ensures daily Safety toolbox talk is carried out to send a strong safety reminder at the beginning of each Shift. Serves as a champion for all safety improvement plans/ideas to raise safety engagement. Ensures all plants upsets, quality issues are recorded and leads Root cause analysis (RCAs) on the events and issues learning. Ensure month end inventory checks are promptly done and reconciled. Lead Management of Change review for new plant trials and ensure new plant trials are conducted safely. Need to take part in the sustainability initiatives & Lean six sigma projects of the site. Accountable for the cost management of the operations. Specific responsibilities include: Ensures all campaign runs are optimized and raw materials yield and Utilities usages are best in class. Encourages cost savings projects to optimize usages and yields EHS responsibilities: To follow site EHS procedure and best practices Read and understand relevant procedure and perform the work safely Support site EHS in safety campaign, Safety observations to prevent the injuries Follow the site PSM procedure and implement the PSM culture Required Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrate strong Safety leadership and good working knowledge on safe work practices, hazards associated with the chemistry and Operations excellence. Effective communication, human relation and organizational skills to work effectively with team/workgroup or those outside the formal line of authority to accomplish organizational goals.
