Assistant Manager- Industrial Engineering

As a Process Engineer at Hyva Group, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the manufacturing processes to ensure consistency in product quality and cost optimization. You will play a key role in implementing technologically advanced solutions to enhance production efficiency and keep the manufacturing setup up-to-date with industry standards. Your main responsibilities will include: - Preparation of PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP/WI for each manufacturing process step - Auditing and updating SOPs based on engineering changes - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for ISO and IATF system implementation - Calibrating Jigs and Fixtures regularly - Inspecting special characteristics from 3rd Party Labs - Auditing sub-contractors monthly - Monitoring process non-conformances, conducting Root Cause Analysis, and implementing Corrective Preventive actions - Coordinating with production leads, technicians, and quality leads - Compiling monthly KPI data for process improvements and quality analysis - Developing or enhancing cutting tools, production tooling, and Jigs/fixtures In terms of cost management, you will be responsible for: - Tracking the cost of indirect material per unit - Identifying opportunities to reduce process costs and driving cost reduction projects - Reviewing indirect material suppliers periodically for cost optimization - Coordinating with the SCM team to optimize inventory carrying cost You will also be involved in Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as: - Shopfloor layout optimization - Capacity calculation and standard time data updating - Conducting Time Study for standard cycle time determination - Implementing Lean Manufacturing training and digitization projects To be successful in this role, you should have: - Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Automotive) with relevant experience - 6 Sigma, TPM, Lean Certification would be advantageous - Minimum 10 years of experience in Process Engineering/Industrial Engineering in Automotive OEM or Tier I supplier - Experience in mass production or large batch serial production environment - Experience in ISO 9000, IATF, or Deming environment - Proficiency in English, both written and spoken Hyva Group offers a sustainable and eco-friendly work environment, competitive salary, and is certified as a Great Place to Work.
