Role Overview: Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire an Assistant Sales Manager . This individual will be responsible for consistently achieving sales, margin, and collection targets through a technical selling approach. The role requires identifying new sales opportunities, supporting existing customers, and working closely with various internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products. Key Areas of Responsibility: Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet the assigned sales, margin, and collection budgets in a progressive manner through a technical selling approach. Identify New Sales Opportunities: Regularly update the sales funnel by identifying new sales opportunities with both existing and new customers. Technical Selling Support: Conduct site mock-ups and prepare techno-commercial proposals with support from the Regional Technical Service Manager as needed. Support Applicators: Support existing applicators and identify new applicators to enhance reach and secure new projects. Collaborate with PSM & Specification Teams: Work closely with all PSM and Specification teams to maximize sales opportunities in projects by maintaining a Project Monitoring Chart for key major and mega projects. Coordinate with Internal Stakeholders: Ensure close coordination with internal stakeholders to guarantee timely product delivery and customer satisfaction. Provide Financial Inputs: Provide timely input to finance for issuing debit/credit notes (if applicable) to ensure sales invoices are completely paid and reconciled. Implement Marketing Actions: Implement launch actions as directed by the marketing teams in consultation with the line manager. Qualifications & Skills: Strong sales experience with a proven track record of meeting targets and developing customer relationships. Technical selling background, with the ability to understand and present complex products to customers. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Proficient in preparing techno-commercial proposals and using sales monitoring tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in managing projects and ensuring timely product delivery. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
