Job Summary

The Assistant Manager - HRIT (HR Information Technology) serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all HRIS-related issues and initiatives within the Human Resources department. This role combines HR knowledge with technical expertise to streamline HR processes, troubleshoot HRIS issues, and ensure seamless integration of HR systems and technologies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between the HR department and the liaison between the HRIS vendor, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for HRIS systems, including HRMIS and other HR-related software.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest HR technology trends and make recommendations for system improvements.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR technical issues or system-related challenges.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HRIS issues in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex problems to the vendor when necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of HRIS systems with other organizational IT infrastructure.
  • Participate in the implementation and updation of HR modules existing as well as new enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and workflows, increasing efficiency and reducing manual tasks.
  • Work with HR teams to optimize existing processes through technology solutions.
  • Provide training to HR staff on the use of HR-related IT systems and tools.
  • Offer ongoing support and guidance to ensure the effective utilization of technology resources.
  • Ensure that HRIT systems comply with data security and privacy regulations.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive HR data.
  • Any other work as assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Specifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of both HR and IT.

Skill Set :

  • Proficiency in HRIT systems and technologies, including HRMIS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
