Job Description

Assistant Manager Housekeeping supports the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all departmental operations. This role is crucial for managing day-to-day staff activities, ensuring impeccable quality control across all areas, and maintaining high standards of guest comfort and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Supervision & Inspection:
Actively supervise and guide Housekeeping Supervisors and associates. Conduct rigorous
daily room inspections
and public area audits to ensure standards are consistently met.
Staff Management:
Assist with the development of staff
schedules and rosters
, manage attendance, and facilitate effective
on-the-job training
and grooming sessions for the team.
Inventory & Control:
Oversee the management of
linen, uniforms, and guest supply inventory
. Assist the Executive in monitoring departmental costs and minimizing resource wastage.
Guest Relations:
Handle and resolve elevated
guest complaints
related to cleanliness or amenities swiftly and professionally, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
Maintenance & Safety:
Coordinate closely with the Engineering team for swift resolution of maintenance defects. Ensure all staff adhere strictly to
chemical safety (MSDS)
and hygiene protocols.
