Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the Engineering & Facilities team at The St. Regis Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment. You will also assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating employees, while ensuring adherence to company policies and safety procedures. Your role will involve inspecting tools, ordering parts, operating power lift, and developing new ways to increase organizational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment - Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and operate shut-off valves - Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed - Inspect tools, equipment, or machines and maintain inventory log - Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees - Follow company policies and safety procedures, report maintenance problems and safety hazards - Anticipate and address guest service needs and develop positive working relationships with others - Ensure adherence to quality standards and recommend ways to increase efficiency, productivity, and safety Qualifications Required: - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree - 4 to 6 years of related work experience - Valid Driver's License Additional Information: St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott International, is dedicated to delivering exquisite experiences at luxury hotels and resorts worldwide.
