Assistant Manager- Finance Automation

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager at Band 5.2, you will work closely with the SLGS Finance Team to support VBA automations as part of the organization's digital transformation journey. You will be a self-motivated and quick learner, driven by results and a desire to lead and drive change for improved operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and enhance existing Excel-based tools and dashboards using VBA. - Automate recurring finance processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Collaborate with Finance Stakeholders across FP&A, Billing & Taxation, and Controllership to deliver customized automation solutions. - Support global finance teams, including stakeholders in Canada, ensuring timely delivery and issue resolution. - Maintain detailed documentation and version control for all automation solutions. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. - Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members when required. Qualification Required: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on implementing automation solutions. - Proficiency in Excel and VBA for automation. - Experience working with senior finance stakeholders. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. - Willingness to learn and adapt to AI and emerging technologies. Additional Details: The ideal candidate for this role should have knowledge of Python, SQL, Power Query, or Power BI/Tableau. Experience in managing automation projects from inception to completion, working with cross-functional teams, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail would be beneficial for this position.,
