3 to 6+ years of experience as Medical coder in US Healthcare. Must be Certified Professional Coder. Flexible with shifts – Required shift is EST 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Extensive Knowledge of “Current Procedural Terminology” / “International Classification of Diseases” codes - CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS and DRG. Basic understanding of claim adjudication rules and processes in order to pre-validate results. Understand the basics of medical (Medicare & Commercial) and related industry and Payer terminology. Understand of E/M, Surgery and Denial process
