Assistant Manager

The Assistant Store Manager at The Mall at Millenia plays a crucial role in upholding a customer-centric atmosphere, prioritizing customer satisfaction, and driving sales under the guidance of the Store Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, managing staffing, and monitoring inventory levels in the absence of the Store Manager. Collaboration with the Store Manager is key to leading a team of dedicated Associates and ensuring exceptional service for all customers. Your primary responsibilities will include effectively managing sales and expenses to achieve optimal results, supporting the Store Manager in maintaining appropriate staffing levels to deliver excellent customer service, and ensuring sufficient shift coverage while accommodating business needs. You will also play a vital role in recruiting, hiring, and training Associates, maintaining brand standards related to cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability within the team. To excel in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience in retail sales, with 1-2 years in retail management. Flexibility in availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential. Strong customer engagement skills, basic merchandising expertise, and effective interpersonal and communication abilities are required. Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting at least 10 pounds. Additionally, fluency in English and the ability to work independently during single shifts are necessary qualifications.
