Assistant Manager - Electrical

Role & responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of electrical installations

  for all projects, ensuring compliance with standards and timelines.

• Lead, guide, and train a team of electricians

  , ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly plans

  based on the dispatch schedule and project requirements.

• Allocate tasks and review team performance

  , ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues

  in systems, components, and equipment to minimize downtime.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and PLC programming

  , including diagnostics and control logic.

• Prepare and monitor annual electrical budgets

  , ensuring cost-effective resource utilization and accurate forecasting.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience working in fire-fighting vehicle or special-purpose vehicle manufacturing

  , specifically related to electrical and auxiliary systems.

• Hands-on experience with emergency vehicle electrical circuits

  , including warning systems, sirens, flashers, control panels, pumps, and safety interlocks.

• Knowledge of NFPA standards

  , automotive electrical layouts, and integration of fire-fighting equipment.

• Experience in wiring harness installation, troubleshooting, and testing

  in heavy-duty or specialized vehicles.

• Ability to coordinate with mechanical, hydraulic, and body-building teams

  to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

• Strong understanding of PLC-based control systems

  used in fire pumps and auxiliary equipment.

• Capability to supervise electricians and ensure quality, safety, and compliance

  throughout the production process.
