Assistant Manager - Design

As an Assistant Manager-Design at NASH, your role will be crucial in handling all post-order ETO project Design activities for NASH Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump & compressor Packages and providing support to Europe/other global customers whenever necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all NASH ETO projects engineering and Design activities for Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump/Compressor Packages. - Conduct detailed study of clients specification/project specifications, job specific requirements, process datasheets, PFD, PID, API specification, etc., and incorporate them during project Engineering and Design. - Create and PLM release 3D parts/assemblies, Isometric, 2D drawings, Piping, and technical documentation following Ingersoll-Rand standards. - Participate in HAZOP/SIL study, 3D modeling review, and other project reviews during execution & obtain necessary approvals from the customer. - Deliver components, assembly, or system-level design tasks and actively participate in design and project reviews. - Implement best engineering practices during the package design & manufacturing. - Visit customer locations for technical discussions to resolve issues during project execution and obtain necessary approvals. Essential Skills: - Proficiency in CAD modeling software such as Inventor and AutoCAD. - Knowledge of auxiliary equipment like Heat Exchanger, Pressure vessel, Valves, Gear Box, Separators, ejectors, etc. - Familiarity with Dimensional Standards for Flanges, Fittings, and Valves as per ASME, DIN, etc. - Strong coordination and communication skills between Project Engineer and cross-functional Team. - Hands-on experience with large assembly drawings, isometric drawings, GAD, P&ID, Bill of material, and ability to read and understand data sheets Wiring Diagram, etc. Key Competencies: - Experience in Oil & Gas /Chemical complex ETO package handling. - Previous involvement in industries related to rotating equipment, compressors, blowers, fans, pumps, gearboxes, oil & gas, machine building, or any industries involving large rotating equipment. - Ability to multitask and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients. - Excellent communication skills in English. - Detailed knowledge of process, PFD, P&ID, API specifications, and experience in core project engineering of rotating packages for Oil & Gas are advantageous. Basic Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in chemical/mechanical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in rotating equipment & packages project engineering and design activities.
