Job Description

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with expertise in Data Science concepts and Generative AI (GenAI) to join our COE team. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead projects, conduct workshops, present to leadership, and collaborate with clients to drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities
Data Science & Analytics
  • Design, develop, and validate machine learning models and advanced statistical solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation for scalability and impact.
  • Stay at the forefront of new advancements in ML, GenAI, and AI technologies to bring innovative ideas into practice.
GenAI & Agentic AI (Good to Have)
  • Hands-on knowledge of LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI frameworks.
  • Build systems that can reason, adapt, and autonomously perform tasks.
  • Lead projects in chatbots, synthetic data generation, text generation, and AI-driven workflows.
Project, Client & Team Management
  • Drive data science projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with client and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver value.
  • Conduct client-facing workshops and knowledge sessions to translate complex AI concepts into business value.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to leadership teams and clients, influencing decision-making and strategy.
  • Identify risks early, track progress, and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior data scientists in their career growth.
Tools & Technologies
  • Evaluate and recommend state-of-the-art data science platforms and libraries.
  • Manage cloud-based ML environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and contribute to MLOps practices.
  • Deploy and monitor models at scale, ensuring high availability and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Python/R, SQL, and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Proficiency with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment best practices.
  • Strong background in data visualization (Tableau, PowerBI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts and deliver clear narratives to senior executives and clients.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Hands-on Data Science project experience is essential. Certifications in AI/DS are a plus.
