Job Description

Role & responsibilities Responsible for undertaking finite element analysis (FEA) for welded Structures. Good experience of FEA, Meshing, Results interpretation with good structural understanding. Conduct FEA or other structural/thermal analysis, including static or dynamic stress analysis, modal analysis, and fatigue analysis. Identify potential critical challenges and failure modes including collaborating with other engineering teams to identify risks. Make recommendations to the design to improve their functional performance and reliability. Work with test engineers to perform verification and validation of the simulation results. Work with test engineers to develop/conduct FEA simulations to verify appropriateness of test methods. Prepare technical reports of results. Through understanding of Kinematics calculations of construction equipment machines. Competencies Excellent understanding of fundamental mechanics and structural finite element analysis (FEA). Experience with Ansys workbench CAE software. Ability to differentiate and utilize both system and subsystem analysis techniques to evaluate complex interactions. Ability to define DOEs and analyze the influence of design parameters to optimize the product design for a given application.
