Job Description

As a Business Development Executive at The Marcom Avenue, your role involves driving revenue growth through client acquisition, lead generation, and relationship management across various industries. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Client Acquisition & Lead Generation - Identify and engage potential clients in startups, corporates, brands, and institutions. - Execute tailored outreach strategies showcasing integrated services. - Build a high-quality sales pipeline through networking, referrals, digital outreach, and events. - Consultative Selling & Service Positioning - Understand client business models, challenges, and goals to recommend tailored solutions. - Develop and pitch bundled service offerings such as SEO + Creative + Ads or PR + Events + Consulting. - Prepare persuasive presentations, customized proposals, and case studies. - Relationship Management - Build trust-based relationships with clients to drive retention and long-term value. - Act as a liaison between client stakeholders and internal teams for seamless delivery. - Conduct regular client reviews to identify upselling opportunities. - Market Research & Competitive Insights - Stay updated on industry trends in digital, PR, and experiential marketing. - Benchmark competitors and identify positioning strategies to stand out. - Share market insights and client feedback with leadership for service innovation. - Revenue Growth & Sales Reporting - Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets. - Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and forecasts in CRM tools. - Report performance metrics to senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning. To excel in this role, you must possess: - 2-5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or marketing services. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation abilities, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, and MS Excel/Google Sheets. - Solution-oriented mindset with a good understanding of integrated marketing/communications. - Ability to pitch complex service offerings as unified value propositions. - Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities. Preferred qualifications include: - Experience in a marketing agency or advertising/PR firm. - Prior exposure to selling bundled marketing services or consultative selling. - Understanding of digital marketing, PR, or event management industries.
