Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager - Accounts to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, managing the financial statements and records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing the Export and Import of the organization and handling Direct and Indirect Tax matters for the organization. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

1. Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, managing bank activities (opening of LC and BGs), general ledger, payroll & utilities, and invoice processing in ERP.
2. Manage the Export and Import of the organization, including the issuance of BRC and keeping track of EDPMS and IDPMS positions.

3. Consolidate financials and analyze variance.

4. Manage the financial statements like balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and cash flow statement.

5. Handle Direct and Indirect Tax matters for the organization.

6. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

7. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

8. Coordinate and complete Quarterly LR, Tax Audit, TP Audit, and Statutory Audit.

9. Provide recommendations to management.

10. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

11. Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.

12. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

13. Ensure the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.

14. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.

15. Develop relationships with external contacts such as auditors and solicitors.

Desired Skills

  • Proven working experience as Finance Manager, Audit Expert or Consolidation Manager
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Knowledge of SAP can be an added advantage.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Qualification: CA Qualified

Experience: 4-5 years

Location: Gurugram, India

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
