Job Description


The Assistant Manager IT will ensure the effective operation, administration, and troubleshooting of all IT systems within the organization, with a particular focus on supporting users of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, resolving day-to-day issues related to D365 BC, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure for business continuity and security.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC), including troubleshooting, resolving daily user issues, and coordinating with vendors or third-party support for more complex cases.

Collaborate with business departments to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues relating to D365BC operations, including finance, sales, inventory, and reporting modules.

Oversee and administer the organization's IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networking, cloud systems, security, backup, and recovery operations.

Manage procurement, deployment, maintenance, and inventory tracking of IT assets, and ensure systems are compliant with organizational policies and best practices.

Implement upgrades, patches, and enhancements for D365BC and other enterprise applications as necessary, and ensure documentation of changes and troubleshooting steps.

Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security across platforms; generate and present periodic reports to senior management.

Mentor and train IT team members and end-users on system functionalities and new deployments or upgrades.

Develop and uphold IT policies and procedures, including incident management, change management, user access controls, and security protocols.

Coordinate with external vendors and internal business teams for managed services, problem escalation, and project implementations.Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

3-4 years of experience in IT operations and support, with demonstrable exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Proven ability in diagnosing and resolving D365BC functional issues across modules.

Knowledge and hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management: servers, networks, cloud services, cybersecurity, and hardware procurement.

Experience in training and supporting users and maintaining high standards of IT service management.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities; capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
