Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Project Leadership and Execution:

Lead end-to-end execution of laboratory-related projects, Company owned collection centres, Back offices and R&D initiatives. This includes defining project objectives, scope, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Budget and Financial Management:

Oversee project budgets and resource allocations, conduct feasibility and sensitivity analyses, monitor costs, and ensure optimal utilization of funds, materials and manpower.

  • Cross-functional Coordination:

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including Admin, Finance, Legal and Sales, to ensure effective collaboration and timely project delivery.

  • Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure all projects and lab operations comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards (e.g., NABL etc) and accreditation requirements. This includes implementing and monitoring quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) programs.

  • Process Improvement:

Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and leverage methodologies for project execution by optimizing processes, improving efficiency and reduce time.

  • Risk Management:

Identify potential risks to project timelines or objectives and establish effective mitigation strategies.

  • Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as the central communication point for internal teams, external partners, and senior management, providing clear, data-driven status reports and (Regular/Weekly/Fortnightly) updates.

  • Team Leadership:

Mentor, train, and lead a team of Engineers, Technicians, Site Supervisors and project staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment

  • To prepare revenue, capex, & manpower budget for project team for the respective finance year in coordination with finance, HR team. To monitor and control throughout the year to maintain within budget forecasted.
  • To distribute uniform workload to every subordinate and guide them for correct method of work.
  • To monitor and control the performance of the job contract agencies for maintenance/ modification / operation and report to the superior.
  • To carry out all other works assigned by superior from time to time. To get involved, settle & solve the issues and challenges cordially of the teams.

  • In case of absence of leave, the responsibility will be entrusted to concerned subordinates or immediate higher authorities.

  • Education:

    A bachelors degree in engineering with 7-15 years of In-depth knowledge in setting up of laboratory, company collection centres, back offices, project management procedures, safety protocols and equipment with proven leadership and team management experience.
