Job Description

Sales & Marketing Leader

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and implement

    state-wise sales and marketing strategies

    aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Achieve

    monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

    through effective planning and execution.
  • Drive

    market expansion, new territory development, and outlet penetration

    across GT, MT, HoReCa, and E-commerce channels.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).

Channel & Distribution Management

  • Appoint, manage, and motivate

    distributors, super-stockists, and channel partners

    across MP, RJ, GJ, MH, and Goa.
  • Strengthen

    General Trade, Modern Trade, HoReCa, Institutional Sales, and Online/D2C

    presence.
  • Lead

    key account management and modern trade negotiations

    , including commercials, promotions, and visibility.
  • Monitor distributor performance through

    scorecards, secondary sales tracking, stock management, and credit control

    .

Marketing, Brand Building & Activations

  • Plan and execute

    integrated marketing campaigns

    including digital marketing, trade marketing, on-ground activations, and sampling programs.
  • Build brand visibility through

    in-store promotions, POS materials, influencer engagement, and local activations

    .
  • Drive

    consumer trials and repeat purchases

    through targeted campaigns in gyms, corporate offices, events, and HoReCa outlets.
  • Coordinate with agencies for

    creative development, digital content, PR, and social media marketing

    .

Product, Pricing & Portfolio Management

  • Define

    state-wise product mix, pricing strategy, and promotional schemes

    based on market dynamics.
  • Lead

    new product launches

    , including GTM strategy, distributor training, and trade communication.
  • Monitor SKU performance, margins, and rationalize portfolio for higher profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with

    FSSAI and regulatory standards

    .

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead and develop

    regional sales managers, area sales executives, merchandisers, and promoters

    .
  • Set KPIs, conduct regular reviews, and implement

    incentive and performance management systems

    .
  • Build a strong sales culture focused on

    execution excellence, accountability, and customer satisfaction

    .
  • Conduct regular market visits, joint field work, and distributor meetings.

Sales Operations, Reporting & Coordination

  • Track sales performance through

    MIS, dashboards, and analytics

    at state and channel levels.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with

    production, supply chain, finance, and marketing teams

    .
  • Manage inventory levels, minimize returns, and improve working capital efficiency.
  • Present periodic performance reviews to

    senior management and leadership forums (including AGM reviews)

    .

Market Intelligence & Strategic Inputs

  • Monitor

    competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and new launches

    .
  • Analyze consumer trends in

    health, wellness, and functional beverages

    .
  • Provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making and innovation.
