Job Description

  • Reports to: Head Admissions & Marketing
  • Team Size: 65/70 Inside Sales Executives + TLs
  • Position Overview
    • We are looking for a self-driven and performance-focused individual to lead Amity Universitys admissions engine. This role will manage a 65/70+ member team responsible for interacting with prospects, lead conversion, and driving applications across programs and geographies. The position will own the lead-to-application funnel, work closely with marketing, CRM, and product teams, and ensure daily rigor, discipline, and conversion-focused outcomes.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Inside Sales Team Management
      • Lead, train, and motivate inside sales team member.
      • Drive discipline, talk-time targets, calling cadences, and follow-up rigor through structured daily/weekly reviews.
      • Ensure adherence to pitch, process, and program USPs for all programs
    • Lead-to-Application Funnel Ownership
      • Track and improve conversion rates across the funnel: lead interest application fee payment.
      • Monitor lead aging, calling SLAs, application starts, and completed form submissions.
      • Work closely with the performance marketing team to provide feedback loop on lead quality and sources.
    • CRM, Reporting & Workflow Excellence
      • Deep hands-on ownership of CRM tool and call monitoring platforms.
      • Maintain dashboards on outreach velocity, lead dispositioning and productivity.
      • Run daily morning standups and evening closure meetings with TLs and MIS teams.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration
      • Partner with the performance marketing team to shape targeting, creatives, and campaign optimisations based on ground feedback.
      • Collaborate with content, product, and tech teams to refine communication workflows and scripts.
  • KPIs / Success Metrics
    • Daily connect %, input metrics, script adherence
    • Lead ageing and follow-up adherence
    • Program-wise contribution to total applications
    • Team productivity: dials/day, conversions/agent
    • CRM hygiene and data quality
  • Candidate Profile:
    • Experience: 8–12 years in inside sales/admissions/telecalling teams; preferably in higher-ed, test prep, edtech, or B2C sales
    • Skills:
      • Proven ability to manage large calling teams
      • High rigour in CRM reporting, funnel analytics, and daily ops
      • Strong communication, team leadership, and conflict resolution
