Key Deliverables:

1. Responsible for accurate accounting and analysis/ financial control of all cost centres by periodic

review and control of all Plant expenses with comparison of actuals vs budgets including conversion

cost, lean inventory systems, cost effective freight, under/ over recoveries with respect to fixed costs

and reduction in overheads. Would be required to present a monthly variance report ensuring

including cost budget to the management.

2. Ensure proper governance through adherence to systems, appropriate diligence and detailing of

issues identified during accounting role, ensuring financial prudence in respect of expenses,

keeping track of trends and identifying exceptions and highlighting the same to the management

on a timely basis.

3. Improve on costing methods by ensuring that cost sheets are periodically modified with the latest

cost centres and productivity outputs.

4. Implement systems and processes to bring in accountability and cost savings.

5. Ensure day-to-day operations of the factory accounts department including daily, monthly, quarterly

and yearly processes, purchase and sales billing, accounts payable, inventory control, general

ledger, capitalization and fixed assets reconciliation leading to closure of any internal audit

observations.

6. Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements including but not limited to direct and

indirect taxes, GST, Professional Tax, Income Tax and GST refund claims with relevant authorities.

• Year of experience 10-20 years
• Qualification – CA/ICWA
