Role & responsibilities The Design Engineers will be responsible for design of Bulk Material Handling Equipment packages, engineering documentation, estimating and process improvement. They will report directly to Manager- Design and collaborate with design/purchasing and shop/assembly teams. Key Deliverables Preparation of conceptual flowsheet and layout drawings for Material Handling packages after going through Technical Specification and Scope. Preparation of Design Calculation and selection of various equipment's and getting approval. Preparation of Mechanical Equipment / Assembly drawings. Preparation of Purchase Requisition form for various components and technical evaluation of vendor offers. Coordinate with sub vendors and approve their drawings. Coordinate with works / site for smooth execution of various jobs. Checking / release detail drawings for manufacturing. Plan, schedule, coordinate and solve problems effectively. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in industrial design, Mechanical Engineering or related field 8+ years’ experience in bulk material handling equipment and packages design Knowledge of metal fabrication processes Candidates should be well conversant with related IS, CEMA and International codes & standards. Knowledge of using AutoCAD software is a must.
