Assistant Engineer - Civil (Industrial Projects)

Experience :2 to 6 years of demonstrated experience in Civil Construction projects.

Project Type : Mandatory experience in Industrial Projects, specifically: Factories, Warehouses.

Education : Diploma - Civil ,Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering is preferred.

Relocation :Ready to relocate Pan-India based on project requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Execution & Site Management (Primary Focus)

Supervise and manage all on-site civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Monitor daily progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement proactive measures to keep the project on track.

Conduct regular quality checks and inspections for materials, workmanship, and construction methods (e.g., concrete pouring, structural steel erection, finishing works).

Coordinate effectively with sub-contractors, laborers, and the project management team.

2. Project Planning & Reporting

Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules, including short-term and look-ahead plans.

Track project milestones and provide regular, accurate progress reports to management.

Identify and flag any deviations from the original plan (scope, time, or cost) and propose corrective actions.

Assist in preparing and processing measurement sheets and payment claims for sub-contractors based on work executed.

Essential Knowledge & Skills

Strong technical knowledge of Civil Engineering principles, construction methods, and materials used in large industrial structures.

Proficiency in interpreting and working with Construction Drawings, P&IDs, and Specifications.

Good understanding of relevant Indian Standards (IS Codes) and local building regulations.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to manage site teams and resolve on-site issues promptly.

Competency in project management software (e.g., MS Project/Primavera P6) is a plus.
