Assistant Engineer - Material Planning

About The Role Summary Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step-by-step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve a result.

Site Overview:Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components, supporting not only Indias defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape Indias aerospace ecosystem.


Role & Responsibilities:

Timely communication & projecting visibility to all stakeholders about critical parts, stock out conditions with the help of continuous engagement with internal & external stakeholders by means of available tools.

Management of material master data for buy parts/OSP items

Process documentation and updates.

Coordinate with customs and logistic to have smooth imports.

MIS work for reporting data in 1st and 2nd shift

Prepare OSP ageing report and taking action to reduce ageing.

Prepare Open PO report and its ageing

Documents checking for GIT material and GRN defect - pre check

Material Put away follow-ups and GRN follow-ups

MIS Support for Advance license.

Transaction support for Inventory and CTB - Work Allocation by Buyers.

The Ideal Candidate:Must have 1 year of experience in material co-ordination (PPC/Material Planning)


Required Qualification:

Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Automobile

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing
