Role & responsibilities

The Assistant Sales Manager, Channel Sales, will be responsible for generating business and building the regions growth strategy by selling Camera Products based out of Nagaon, handling the Cachar Districts, Upper Assam, Manipur, and Mizoram to drive channel business for the Camera Division in the above-mentioned Territory. Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets. Build strong relationships with channel partners. Regularly engage through partner meetings, joint business planning, and performance reviews. Ensure brand presence at retail counters, implement in-shop branding, and conduct product demos and promotional campaigns. Build Competencies in the partners to handle the existing potential as well as new emerging opportunities in the Marketplace. Carry out Product and Sales Training Programs to ensure adequate capability of the Partner's Sales Force. BTL Activities in the form of events/Live weddings, and Live demos to increase the market share. Experience in motivating & monitoring dealer sales force. Well-versed in target setting for dealers and the ability to convince dealer owners. Monitor stock availability and movement at distributors and retailers. Ensure timely collection of payments and credit discipline. Gather market insights, including competitor activity, pricing, and new product trends. Share timely inputs with the product and marketing teams. Work closely with the marketing, service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth end-to-end execution.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with 8 to 12 years of work experience in selling Camera or CCTV Cameras (Video Security Products), Achieving Targeted Sales and Revenue, increasing market share for Camera or CCTV products through Channel Partners. Product skills, especially Photography skills, along with sales skills, will be an advantage. Should have excellent communication skills, articulation, and the ability to influence people. Build Competencies in the partners to handle the existing potential as well as new emerging opportunities in the marketplace. Carry out Product and Sales Training Programs to ensure adequate capability of the Partners' Sales Force.
