Job Description

Role & responsibilities The Senior Territory Manager Channel Sales will be responsible for generating business and building the regions growth strategy by selling Printing Products such as Inkjet and Laser Printers through channel partners. The role includes developing a sales plan for the assigned territory by creating a channel blueprint- market reach, expansion and consolidation. Target setting for the Dealers for business, expansion, and promotional programs. Ensuring an adequate number of channel partners to increase the market reach by appointing a requisite number of partners and retailer expansion through partners. Market visits to channel partners, retailers, and various other store formats, regularly to get information on the customers, understand sales progress, issues in the market, and timely action. Allotment targets to channel partners and reviewing the performance of such partners. Working with regional marketing to devise programs that will help them achieve targets. Facilitating resolution of issues related to distribution viz marketing support, clearance of backend, pricing, and logistics-related issues. Working closely with product training teams to build knowledge and competencies in partners sales force on products and selling skills. Ensuring smooth communication and deployment of marketing activities and programs including schemes, FOS, collaterals, and promotion programs. Implementing direct marketing Programs to ensure lead generation. Reporting monthly plans and targets achieved. Tracking of market situation and competitor activities and sharing market information. Feedback from partners on key activities and initiatives from marketing. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline, and partner records. Ensure all partner-related transactions are compliant with company policy. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market insights. Preferred candidate profile Ensuring healthy partner relationships through regular engagement. Target setting, tracking channel sales performance, and driving growth. Skillful pricing discussions, discounts, and promotional offer closures. Generating leads via channel partners and converting them into business. Tracking market trends, pricing strategies, and new product launches. Educating partners on new products, schemes, and incentive plans. Addressing channel conflicts and ensuring smooth business operations. Supporting partners in end-customer meetings and solution positioning.
