Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assistant Business Manager- Tournament Operations, you will be responsible for managing CRM operations and executing targeted engagement campaigns using platforms like CleverTap. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and tech teams to drive user retention, increase daily active users (DAUs), and generate revenue from the existing user base. This is a data-driven, execution-heavy role that blends creativity with strong business acumen. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute multi-channel customer journeys with the right communication, visuals, and incentives for continuous engagement. Run marketing and promotional campaigns aimed at driving short-term revenue and long-term retention. Develop and execute engaging tournament strategies aligned with business growth objectives. Analyze player/user data, segment users, and use insights to optimize campaign performance. Own key customer metrics including DAU, CTRs, retention rates, and notification traffic. Prepare detailed reports, performance dashboards, and maintain business trackers. Plan, implement, and optimize monthly CRM/tournament initiatives through A/B testing and data analysis. Collaborate with design to develop compelling creatives and messaging. Coordinate with tech and product teams to ensure timely execution and seamless user experience. Manage and resolve campaign escalations, including JIRA ticket tracking and stakeholder updates. Adapt quickly to evolving business needs and manage multiple responsibilities under tight timelines. Desired Candidate Profile: Education: BE/BTech or equivalent from a reputed university. Experience: 2-4 years in CRM, business operations, or marketing, preferably in a high-growth digital or internet consumer business. CRM Tools: Hands-on experience with CleverTap, WebEngage, MoEngage, or similar platforms. Data Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and basic SQL for reporting and insights generation Mindset: Inquisitive, creative, and highly adaptive with a strong sense of ownership and initiative Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities Execution: Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and deliver under pressure Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with marketing, design, tech, and product teams Customer Focused: Deep understanding of customer lifecycle management, retention strategies, and engagement best practices Good to Have: Knowledge of the gaming or consumer-tech industry Experience in designing tournaments or gamified engagement strategies Familiarity with JIRA and task tracking workflows Past involvement in campaign performance analytics and dashboarding
