Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables and data. They will also reconcile and balance accounts, generate financial statements, and assist with month-end closing activities. Additionally, the role will involve coordinating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial record keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in verifying and posting accounts receivable transactions
• Proficiency in reconciling and balancing accounts
• Skills in generating financial statements and assisting with month-end closing activities
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in the finance or accounting industry is a plus.
• Taxation experience is also a plus
