Company Description Petroleum Products Trading company Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables and data. They will also reconcile and balance accounts, generate financial statements, and assist with month-end closing activities. Additionally, the role will involve coordinating with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial record keeping. Qualifications Experience in verifying and posting accounts receivable transactions Proficiency in reconciling and balancing accounts Skills in generating financial statements and assisting with month-end closing activities Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience in the finance or accounting industry is a plus. Taxation experience is also a plus
