Assistant Accountant (Fresher)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting entries and basic bookkeeping.
• Handle vendor invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and share customer invoices and maintain proper records.
• Follow up with vendors for pending bills or clarifications.
• Follow up with clients for outstanding payments and confirmations.
• Maintain lists of payables and receivables.
• Assist in simple reconciliations such as ledgers, bank statements, and petty cash.
• Keep all accounting documents properly filed and updated.
• Coordinate internally for approvals, documents, and payment processing.
• Provide required documents for audits or internal reviews.
• Assist in updating attendance and leave records (basic HR support).
• Help with onboarding documentation and maintaining employee files.
• Coordinate with employees for basic HR-related queries.

Required Qualification & Skills:

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or any commerce background.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and willingness to learn accounting software.
• Sharp, quick learner with attention to detail and discipline.

Preferred:

• Positive attitude and willingness to take responsibility.
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
