Financial Record Keeping and Processing:

• Maintaining financial records:

  This includes recording daily transactions, managing ledgers, and updating financial databases.

• Processing invoices and payments:

  Handling both accounts payable (paying bills) and accounts receivable (collecting payments).

• Reconciling bank statements:

  Comparing bank records with company records to ensure accuracy.

• Data entry:

  Accurately inputting financial information into accounting systems.

• Preparing financial documents:

  Creating invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Assisting with financial statement preparation:

  Helping to compile reports like profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Preparing reports for audits:

  Gathering and organizing financial data for internal and external audits.

• Analyzing financial data:

  Identifying discrepancies and potential areas of concern.

Other Responsibilities:

• Assisting with budgeting:

  Providing support in the budget preparation process.

• Maintaining files and records:

  Keeping both physical and digital financial records organized.

• Ensuring compliance:

  Helping to ensure the organization adheres to financial regulations and policies.

• Communicating with vendors and clients:

  Addressing billing and payment inquiries.

• Providing support to senior accountants:

  Assisting with various accounting tasks as needed.
