Assistant Accountant

Experience: 2 years in industry or 3 years of articleship in a CA firm

Elevate First Accounting & Auditing (elevateauditing.com) is seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing financial information to support the company's operations. Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks - journal entries, and general ledger activities.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions & payroll calculations.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide accurate and timely information to management and clients.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Provide support to senior accountants and management as required.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting(B-Com), Finance, or a related field. CMA Inter (With Articleship Experience) will be more preferable.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications – Excel and Word
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
