Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience in reconciliation, taxation, and cash management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Perform bank reconciliation on a regular basis and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Manage and file GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Assist in cash flow management, including monitoring daily inflows and outflows.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors for financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong background in accounting and finance.
• Proficiency in Tally/ERP or other accounting software.
• Sound knowledge of GST compliance and returns filing.
• Excellent skills in ledger and bank reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of MS Excel (advanced level preferred).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
