Assistant Account Executive

We are looking for a Assistant Accounts Executive to support our Accounts Department. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting activities, and the ability to work accurately under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally
• Prepare and verify vouchers, bills, purchase invoices, and expense statements
• Handle cash and bank transactions, including Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
• Assist in maintaining records related to procurement, processing, cold storage, and logistics expenses
• Support preparation of GST-related data, invoice verification, and statutory compliance
• Assist in monthly closing of accounts and management reports
• Maintain proper filing of accounting and statutory documents
• Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics departments for accounts-related data
• Support senior accounts staff during audits and inspections

Requirements & Skills:

• B. Com / M. Com qualification
• 6 months to 1 year of accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and MS Office
• Basic understanding of GST and statutory compliance
• Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in a factory / plant environment
• Candidates residing in or near Tuticorin (Thoothukudi) will be preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
