Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Area Sales Manager (ASM) Modern Trade-North based in Gurugram. The ASM will manage and grow the modern trade channel for the northern region, ensuring sales targets are met and relationships with key accounts are maintained and expanded. Key responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and coordinating with the distribution network. The role also involves providing regular sales reports, developing promotional plans, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Sales Management, Channel Development, and achieving sales targets
• Experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Planning, and Building Client Relationships
• Ability to conduct Market Analysis, identify growth opportunities, and implement effective sales strategies
• Proficiency in Communication, Negotiation, and Leadership skills
• Familiarity with the FMCG, FMCD, or packaging industry is a strong advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Capability to work in a target-driven environment and adapt to market dynamics
• Willingness to operate in an on-site full-time capacity in Gurugram & North Region
