Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager for Rotavator Blades, your primary responsibility is to develop and execute sales strategies at a zonal level to enhance market penetration. This involves setting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for the sales team and overseeing their successful accomplishment. In addition, you will be tasked with channel development, which includes identifying, appointing, and managing dealers, distributors, and retailers within the zone. Building strong relationships with these channel partners is essential to drive consistent orders and maintain adequate stock availability. Your role will also involve market expansion by exploring new markets and devising strategies to establish the brand in previously untapped regions. Conducting competitor analysis to assess pricing, quality, and market share will be crucial in informing your market expansion strategies. Furthermore, as a team leader, you will be responsible for leading, training, and motivating Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Officers, and field staff. Monitoring team performance, providing guidance, and ensuring comprehensive coverage of all target territories are key aspects of your leadership role. You will play a significant part in product promotion and branding by organizing farmer meetings, product demos, exhibitions, and dealer meets to enhance the visibility of rotavator blades. Gathering market feedback on blade performance, quality, and customer satisfaction will be vital for product improvement and customer retention. Tracking sales performance, customer demand, and market trends, and providing regular MIS reports to senior management with insightful suggestions will also fall under your purview. Additionally, coordinating with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability, monitoring distributor stock levels, and facilitating timely reorders will be crucial for efficient inventory and logistics management. Furthermore, resolving issues related to product complaints, warranty claims, or late deliveries, and maintaining strong relationships with large farmers, service providers, and agricultural contractors are integral components of your role in customer relationship management. This is a full-time position with day shift schedules that require in-person work at the designated location.,
