Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Articled Assistant located in Kolkata. The Articled Assistant will be responsible for assisting with audit assignments, preparing financial statements, conducting tax audits, supporting compliance processes, performing accounting tasks, and gaining practical exposure to various aspects of accounting and taxation. Additionally, the role may involve preparing reports, managing documentation, and contributing to client interactions under the supervision of senior staff.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Taxation
• Knowledge of Compliance, Audit Processes, and Risk Assessment
• Attention to detail, Analytical thinking, and Problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of Accounting Standards and Regulatory Framework
• Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Office, Tally, and other accounting tools is a plus
• Current enrollment as an Articled Assistant under ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) regulations
