Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for an Articleship Trainee based in chennai. The Articleship Trainee will engage in a variety of assignments, including preparing and reviewing financial documentation, assisting in the preparation of GST filings and other indirect tax-related tasks, conducting audits under guidance, and supporting client service efforts. Responsibilities also include research, compliance verification, and drafting reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Financial Documentation, Accounting Standards, and Reporting
• Knowledge of Indirect Taxation, including GST, Customs, and Compliance Requirements
• Analytical and Research skills for conducting audits and tax preparation
• Proficiency in using MS Office, Taxation Software, and other accounting tools
• Good organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
• Candidates actively enrolled in the Chartered Accountancy program are preferred.
