Job Description

Job Title : Area Sales Manager

Job Location : Vijayawada

Role & responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Business Executives in the assigned area.
Achieve area-wise sales targets (primary and secondary) and ensure ROI.
Coach, guide, and motivate the team for effective product promotion and doctor conversion.
Conduct joint field work with team members to ensure effective doctor and chemist engagement.
Monitor daily call reports, territory coverage, and customer interactions.
Conduct regular team reviews and provide feedback for performance improvement.
Plan and execute promotional campaigns, CMEs, and doctor group meetings.
Analyse sales trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
Ensure timely reporting, documentation, and compliance with company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate in Science / Pharmacy / Commerce (B.Sc, B.Pharma, B.Com)
7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 23 years in a team-leading role
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of the local market and doctor network
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
Proven track record of target achievement and team development
Must have 3- 4yrs of experience in Ortho segment.
