Job Purpose

This role focuses on driving regional sales growth by formulating effective sales strategies, managing key customer accounts, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring achievement of sales targets.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Segment and map the target market to identify potential business opportunities and challenges.
  • Track, analyze, and benchmark competition by segment for market share and business models.
  • Formulate area-wise sales plans and oversee their execution.
  • Manage relationships with key customer accounts, including negotiation of commercial terms.
  • Enhance brand visibility through participation in industry seminars, conferences, and workshops.
  • Build and maintain relations with trade and industry bodies to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and security regulations.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets and monitor variances (product-wise/month-wise).
  • Achieve sales targets consistently within planned timelines.

Major Responsibilities

  • Execute sales strategies across the assigned region.
  • Drive awareness programs tailored to diverse market segments.
  • Represent the organization in trade forums, seminars, and workshops.
  • Liaise with government and trade authorities such as IBM, DGMS, CCE, Customs, and Shipping agencies.
  • Ensure risk-free operations by adhering to all relevant statutes and safety standards.
  • Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • UG: B.E/B.Tech in Mining / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred but not mandatory).

Experience

  • 812 years of relevant B2B sales experience, preferably in the Chemicals or Mining industry.
  • Exposure to commercial and technical services will be an added advantage.
  • Technical & Functional Skills
  • Strong knowledge of mining operations and handling of explosives.
  • Understanding of mining regulations, legislation, Mines Act, and Explosives Rules.
  • Familiarity with blasting optimization.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and business tools.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal and professional relationships.
