Role Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving vehicle sales, managing dealership performance, leading the sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction.This role demands a strong understanding of the automotive market, excellent leadership skills, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with business goals.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across all vehicle models.

Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership

Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.

Set individual targets and conduct regular performance reviews.

Dealer & Channel Management

Coordinate with dealerships to optimize inventory and sales.

Monitor dealer performance and provide strategic support.

Reporting & Analytics

Track KPIs such as sales volume, conversion rates, and customer feedback.

EV & Sustainability Focus (if applicable)

Promote electric vehicle (EV) sales and educate customers on benefits.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

8+ years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Knowledge of the Indian automotive market and consumer behavior.
