Area Sales Manager (Secured Lending Business) COMPANY OVERVIEW A digital lending platform with a single goal of making credit accessible to millions of small businesses in India. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP POSITION REPORTS TO: ZONAL / NATIONAL HEAD - SALES (SECURED LENDING BUSINESS) DEPARTMENT: SALES POSITION LOCATION: BANGALORE / CHENNAI POSITION SUMMARY The Area Sales Manager Bangalore / Chennai will be responsible for driving and managing the secured lending business (Home Loans, Affordable Housing Loans, and Loan Against Property) across Karnataka, based out of Bangalore. The role requires strong expertise in DSA and Direct sourcing channels, deep knowledge of the Karnataka market, and legal aspects related to property transactions. The incumbent must have over 8 years of relevant experience in secured lending with banks or reputed NBFCs, along with proven leadership capabilities to manage teams and business operations. Fluency in Kannada, Hindi, and English is essential. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Drive business growth for secured lending products (Home Loans, Affordable Housing Loans, Loan Against Property) across Karnataka through DSA and Direct channels. Manage and expand the regional distribution network, ensuring strong relationships with DSAs, partners, and direct sourcing channels. Monitor business performance against defined targets and ensure achievement of revenue and portfolio quality goals. Assess credit proposals, monitor portfolio health, and ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and regulatory guidelines. Develop and implement strategies for scaling up business in the Karnataka market. Lead, guide, and motivate the regional team to achieve business objectives. Stay updated on local market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the secured lending space. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Education: Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA/Finance preferred). Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in secured lending (Micro / Affordable Housing Loans & LAP) with Banks or reputed NBFCs. Proven experience in managing large geographies, preferably Karnataka, with a strong business track record. Strong knowledge of Karnataka geography and legal aspects related to property transactions. Excellent communication skills with fluency in Kannada, Hindi, and English (mandatory). Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and multiple stakeholders. High level of integrity, customer focus, and result orientation. Strong DSA and partner relationship management skills. Analytical mindset with sound decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within timelines. Self-driven with strong market networking and negotiation skills.
