Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager, you'll be the frontline ambassador of our EdTech mission, driving growth by forging strategic partnerships with educational institutions across assigned territories. You'll be responsible for executing territory-specific outreach plans, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and nurturing institutional relationships that foster long-term engagement. Through active collaboration with marketing, product, and support teams, youll ensure that every college interaction is optimized for relevance, impact, and conversion. Success in this role hinges on your ability to build trust, identify growth opportunities, and position our product as a valuable academic partner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and approach colleges and institutions in assigned zones for outreach Conduct campus visits and schedule meetings with decision-makers.
  • Deliver persuasive product presentations and demonstrations tailored to college needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with educational stakeholders.
  • Manage lead generation, follow-ups, and conversion through cold visits and referrals.
  • Participate in campus events, career fairs, and seminars to build brand awareness.
  • Maintain regular activity logs, sales pipeline updates, and regional performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions based on feedback from campuses.
  • Stay updated on competitor offerings and regional trends in education technology.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned for the territory.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English + local language).
  • Knowledge of higher education landscape and EdTech solutions.
  • Proven experience in B2B or institutional sales, preferably in education or technology domains.
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations and build quick rapport with clients.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and ability to manage field operations independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, reporting systems, and basic data tracking.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.
