Location : South Chennai, Tamil Nadu Company : EssorSuperFoods Pvt Ltd Job Type : Full-time, Permanent Salary : ₹30,000 – ₹40,000/month + Performance Incentives Job Summary EssorSuperFoods Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead our general trade operations in South Chennai . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a field sales team , ensuring market coverage , implementing company SOPs , and overseeing team performance and profitability in the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, and lead a team of 5–7 Sales Officers in South Chennai. Plan daily route beats, shop visits, and ensure team follows sales SOPs. Guide Sales Officers in onboarding new retail outlets and managing distributor relationships. Monitor daily execution: order booking, scheme communication, FIFO, and in-store hygiene. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-field training. Track and report Target vs. Achievement , SKU movement, and scheme utilization. Maintain discipline in zone-level P&L — managing salary budgets, schemes, and returns. Submit timely reports and feedback to senior management. Performance Indicators Number of new outlets onboarded Team SOP compliance and daily productivity Proper execution of schemes and product visibility Distributor coordination and order servicing Budget control within assigned zone Requirements Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred). 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales with team handling. Knowledge of Chennai general trade market, especially South Chennai. Experience using sales CRM tools like FieldAssist . Strong communication skills in Tamil and basic English .
