Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Nos of Positions: 4

(2) Area Sales Manager - Rest of North (excldg. Delhi NCR) 

(3) Area Sales Manager - South Tamil Nadu & Kerela based out of Cochin or Chennai

(4) Area Sales Manager – South Karnataka +AP + Telangana based out of Hyderabad or Bangalore 

Reporting To: National Sales Head – Michelin Auto Accessories

 

Position Overview:

Area Sales Manager

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and achieve revenue targets in the assigned territory, treating it as an independent profit centre.
  • Develop and expand distributor network; identify, appoint, and nurture new partners.
  • Manage and grow relationships with:

Distributors & accessory retailers

Car care detailing studios

Premium car wash centres

  • Execute go-to-market strategies tailored to the car accessories industry.
  • Track sales performance, forecast demand, and implement initiatives to boost profitability.
  • Build and sustain strong contacts across the market, ensuring premium product positioning.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor distributors to scale business operations.
  • Ensure seamless market coverage through extensive travel and ground-level engagement


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in the automotive accessories / car care industry with exposure to leading brands
  • Proven track record in distributor handling and network expansion
  • Strong market relationships with retailers, detailing studios, and premium car wash centres
  • Excellent command of English and local language(s)
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region Strong business acumen with the ability to manage P&L responsibility at the territory level
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and drive market penetration
