Job Description

As an Area Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead the sales operations in your assigned area. You will be tasked with appointing super stockists and distributors, as well as building and training a high-performing sales team. Your expertise in Sales Strategy, Customer Relationship Management, Market Analysis, Sales Forecasting, Team Leadership, and Performance Management will be critical in developing and executing sales strategies for various outlets and channels. You will be required to manage existing client portfolios while proactively seeking new business opportunities. Building and nurturing strong relationships with super stockists, distributors, cafe managers, F&B teams, and procurement teams will be essential for success in this role. Conducting regular market visits to stay updated on customer needs, monitor competition, and identify market trends will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery, monitoring sales performance, forecasting demand, and reporting on key performance indicators will be crucial aspects of your role. Conducting product training sessions, participating in industry events and trade shows, and implementing promotional campaigns in coordination with the marketing team will also be part of your duties. To qualify for this position, you should hold a degree in any discipline with a specialization in Marketing or Sales. Fluency in English, Hindi, and at least one South Indian language is required. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, specifically in HORECA sales, is essential. Strong knowledge of the MT channel partners, the ability to appoint super stockists and distributors, and experience in managing sales within the same category of products are prerequisites for this role.
