(Indore) Location: Udaipur (Head Office) – Extensive Travel Across Rajasthan Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in FMCG Sales Qualification: Graduate (any stream) Industry: FMCG / Tea Manufacturing About Us: Mehta Tea Pvt. As part of our expansion in Rajasthan, we are looking for a high-performing Area Sales Manager to lead and drive sales operations across the entire state. Job Summary: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and scaling the company’s presence across all major cities and towns of Rajasthan. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership in FMCG distribution management, deep regional market knowledge, and a track record of delivering strong sales growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage primary and secondary sales across the Rajasthan territory. Appoint and nurture a network of distributors and stockists across key cities and rural belts. Monitor, train, and guide on-ground sales teams including SOs and field executives. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across multiple product categories. Design and implement territory-wise sales and promotional strategies. Conduct regular market visits to assess brand visibility, distribution gaps, and retailer satisfaction. Track competitor activities and share intelligence with management. Submit detailed sales reports, forecasts, and updates to senior management. Ensure adherence to credit policies and smooth distributor operations. Candidate Requirements: Minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in tea or beverage segments. Graduate in any stream (MBA preferred but not mandatory). Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Extensive understanding of Rajasthan’s FMCG market dynamics. Demonstrated success in handling large territories and distributor networks. Willing to travel extensively across the state. Must own a two-wheeler or four-wheeler for field movement. Based in or willing to relocate to Udaipur.
