Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Role Overview: As an Area Sales Manager (ASM) at our esteemed organization, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, maintaining client relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve targets for various banking products. Additionally, you will lead a team, manage client relationships, and devise effective marketing strategies to promote product awareness. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Cash Credit limit (CC), Overdrafts limit (OD), and Term Loans limit products in the assigned area. - Generate leads from Open market sourcing and explore new business opportunities to expand the customer base. - Monitor sales performance, provide reports to senior management, and conduct market research to tailor sales strategies. - Lead and manage a team of sales executives, provide guidance, support, and motivation for their success. - Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, resolve customer complaints promptly, and identify cross-selling opportunities. - Devise effective promotional strategies and collaborate with the marketing team for marketing initiatives. Qualifications Required: - MBA (Master of Business Administration) and CA (Chartered Accountant) qualifications are mandatory. - Minimum 2 years of experience in Cash Credit limit (CC), Overdrafts limit (OD), and Term Loans limit. - At least 5 years of experience in Marketing within the finance or banking industry. - Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a sales team. - Strong business acumen, understanding of financial products, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Possession of a valid driving license and a 2-wheeler for daily commuting.
