Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Astemax Biotech Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts in Assam. The primary responsibility is to appoint distributors and wholesalers, expand market reach, and boost sales of our allopathic pharmaceutical products across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and appoint reliable distributors and wholesalers in Assam to expand the company’s distribution network.
• Regularly engage with prospective distributors and wholesalers to build long-term business relations.
• Conduct regular calling and visits to doctors to promote product prescriptions and enhance product visibility in the market.
• Drive sales growth by creating and executing effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and feedback to improve product positioning..
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the management.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in allopathic general range.
• Strong knowledge of distribution channels, especially in Assam or Northeast India.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with medical professionals and distributors.
• Ability to meet sales targets and develop channel partnerships.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or equivalent.
• Prior experience as Medical Representative or Area Sales Manager in pharma companies.
• Good network in healthcare and pharma sectors in Assam.
